After school work, usually in the last 10 minutes of class I would bring it out and let the kids play. I teach at an overage inner city school; a last chance school. Many of these kids have terrible problem solving abilities and I feel like your game was amazing at getting these kids to think through spacial relationships.

I had a feeling some would ask this and I'm not really sure how to answer this.Like 99.9% of the people I've pirated stuff and I still do. These days I don't do it that often and I mostly use it as a backup (I've bought this software, but the CD is somewhere where I'm not) or as a protest to poor service, country restrictions or ridiculous DRM. Or in the case of abandonware, where something I'd love to buy and support isn't being offered anymore.

So yeah I pirate, but I mostly try to buy stuff, but sometimes it's fucking impossible.So I don't mind people pirating my game. I didn't really make Crayon Physics Deluxe to make money off of it, so I'm just happy that people are playing the game.

And I know that sometimes piracy is the only way a person can play the game (they don't have a credit card, they live in a country where paypal doesn't work, they can't afford the price.).My personal view of piracy and buying stuff I could pirate is that if I buy something it means that I've supported the developers / artists and hopefully my humble purchase allows them to continue practicing their art. This is especially true when it comes to indie games. Between great indie developers like yourself and Steam's awesome sales, I now own most of the video games I play legitimately. Finally with this pay what you want sale I could rationalize paying $5 for it, sorry I'm a student and I really don't have a big entertainment budget, but your game is definitely worth some money. I admit I played your game pirated in the past, but now that it's affordable to me, I'll gladly pay for it. Maybe you should consider doing a sale on Steam as a lot of people will see it there. Their service is great, I use it myself to buy most of my PC games. And they've been a pleasure to work with.The only problem I have with steam is that of a philosophical nature. I don't think there is any reason to have DRM on any service.

Parents need to know that Crayon Physics Deluxe is a hand-drawn physics puzzle game based on the award-winning indie of the same name. The puzzles go from easy to extremely difficult, and later puzzles will not be appropriate for young children.

There is no objectionable content, though. The controls can be a little tricky to use, especially on an iPhone or iPod touch - the iPad's larger screen is easier to work with. Level selection is difficult since there is no preview for what you are selecting. The game is good at letting players learn by experimenting as they use their mind and creativity to construct objects that can help them within the environment of each puzzle.

CRAYON PHYSICS DELUXE is an outstanding physics-puzzler. Unlike many similar games that provide you with a limited set of tools, this game lets you draw any object you choose, including hinges and ropes, to help you get the ball through the environment to the exit star. However, this incredible freedom comes at a price: very difficult puzzles, like how to get the ball from a tiny floating platform to the star that is far away and much higher up. The game offers no hints, so it is up to the player to come up with clever solutions. The graphics are made to look like crayon on newsprint, and have a child-like feel to them, which belies the difficulty level.On a small screen it can be easy to erase the wrong object, but the controls mostly work as designed.

The level selection screen is poor, with just a row of numbers, no preview of the level selected, and no indication of whether you've completed the level already. With a better interface, and perhaps a lower price, this would be five star app.
